As a dedicated educator, I’ve had the privilege of shaping young minds and inspiring a love for learning in my learners. My journey in teaching began with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others, especially learners with barriers to learning.
The love for catering for learners with different learning styles was birthed by the few teachers I had who were very patient with me in school as a struggling learner. Looking back I decided I want to be like the teachers I had and even better. I’ve learned that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge, but about building relationships, fostering growth, and empowering learners to reach their full potential.
Along the way, I’ve been fortunate to be part of a supportive community of educators who have encouraged me, challenged me, and helped me grow as a professional. I believe that teachers deserve all the support they can get – from colleagues, administrators, and the broader community – to do what we do best: nurturing the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and change-makers.
