I developed my respect for education and passion for teaching at a very early age in my life. I became a teacher because I wanted to plant a seed of education in learners from different backgrounds, inspire, innovate, motivate and change young ones’ lives I teach to inspire future generations to create a more equal world, to help children learn more effectively and to improve children’s lives.
My philosophy of education is that all children are unique and must have a stimulating educational environment where they can grow physically, mentally, emotionally and socially. It was my desire to create this type of atmosphere where learners can meet their full potential. I wanted to provide a safe environment where learners are invited to share their ideas and take risks. To assist learners to express and discover themselves and accept themselves for who they are, as well as embrace the differences of others. It took me a long time to grasp or master reading skills therefore it was my ambition to play a huge role by teaching reading skills and methods foundation phase.
My vision is to improve the use of ICT Education in schools for both educators and learners. Learners and educators to being educated in using smart boards, and computers and searching for information online – school’s funds can be reduced in terms of buying new textbooks every year.
To improve the quality and efficiency of the system of education are, improving in the quality of components, improving the quality of standards and curricula, improving the quality of academic literature, improving professionalism among school personnel, improving the quality of educational monitoring, improving the quality of moral and personnel upbringing, improving the quality of research, improving the quality of management system, improving the quality of material and technical base and formulation of policies and rules. Within the system of education at all levels, the major focus is put upon improving the quality of teaching-learning methods and instructional strategies. Furthermore, one pays adequate attention to improving the quality of other aspects within the environmental conditions. These include infrastructure, amenities, materials, equipment, technologies and the overall environmental conditions.
My superpower has been the ability to stay open to fresh perspectives. It is to influence and create a conducive classroom environment and seek to support and assist learners. It is also to accommodate all learners in my lessons during the teaching and learning process.
