I am passionate teacher with a deep commitment to helping learners grow not only academically but also personally. I chose teaching because I believe in the power of education to transform lives just as it did mine. Growing up I had a primary school language teacher and a high school EMS teacher who believed in me. These teachers challenged me to get out of my comfort zone and open doors I never possibly imagined. I would like to change the way we define success in education profession. I want to advocate for more holistic learner centred approaches that celebrate diverse learning styles. My goal is to be part of the group that will redefine curriculum and ensure learners are taught in a way that is in line with the needs of our country.
