I love teaching. My journey as a teacher began when I was in high school, and I would teach my younger cousins and siblings. I knew that I would take teaching as a career because I wanted to make a difference in our education system when I realised that quality education was not being received by all learners. My passion for education grew when I studied Education and became a teacher on a television show that aired nationally, and I was able to teach over a million South African learners.
As a language teacher my dream is for our education system to incorporate multilingual education in a way that will aid meaning making for learners and make their learning experience pleasant and empowering.
My superpower is that my lessons are not limited to one classroom: I use multiple platforms to deliver quality education to our students.
