My name is Sanele Msomi, and I reside in the Mvini area, a rural part of KwaZulu-Natal. I began my career as a teacher assistant in 2008, employed by the Department of Education. My primary responsibility was to support young learners experiencing challenges in reading, writing, and numeracy. I am passionate about working with young people, not only as an educator but also as a father of two children, with whom I share my home.
My goal is to guide the youth towards a positive future through the power of education, especially as many are confronted by issues such as substance abuse, which negatively affects our society. I believe that the children of South Africa need comprehensive support and guidance to overcome the numerous challenges they face in their daily lives. It is crucial that they have access to quality education and robust health support systems to enable their timely and successful academic performance.
