I believe that children have so much knowledge within them and do not come into the classroom as tabula rasa waiting for knowledge to be deposited into them, they have a lot to share too. As a teacher, my purpose is to help learners to become the best version of themselves with confidence. Conversations are one of the best ways to teach and learn – dialogue is a cause for inspirational learning. It is important that when we teach we take into consideration the context of the learners – the content that we teach, how we create the content, and the teachers that create it. I want to pursue my Master’s degree and PhD looking at teacher strategies that are beneficial for the context of teaching and learning.
