Teachers CAN welcomes the drive to vaccinate almost 600 000 teachers and education sector workers from tomorrow until Thursday, 8 July 2021.

“After the loss of many teachers and education workers to COVID-19 over the past year, the move to protect these valuable assets to our society is vitally needed and welcomed.

“By sewing together the fabric of our society, teachers sow the seeds of a more prosperous nation at the same time. By keeping them safe, learners as well as the wider school community is kept safe,” said Andisiwe Hlungwane, project lead of Teachers CAN and Parent Power.
